The Day After Evans

Some one asked in the comments on My thought of the Day, "So if your english speaking and the person you want to interview is not how do you have a conversation?"

Simple, a translator. I doubt its that hard to find someone who speaks both English and Spanish to do the translating.

I did a little 3hr ride around Boulder this morning to rest the legs from Evans but the heat is just taking it right out of me. I've got the AC cranked all the way down, but I think it might be a pool day.

Yeah, because after about 45k's of climbing, almost five and a half hours and nearly 200k he would want to spend all the time after the race talking to translators and giving interviews instead of recovering for the next day.

i, personally, believe that he would expect some sort of interview with that kind of performance. Most would be more than happy to do this for their fans.

Yes, An interview in his native language. He does it once and everyone tapes records it. Its up to them to get in translated and get it out via their form of media.

Just because you think it would be fun to have people listen to you talk doesn't mean a guy trying to the tour would. Their job is to win bike races and while media comes with it there a limits as to what can be expected. If you ask the director/manager/owner... Should I win the tour or make sure everyone with a question gets answered what do you think the response would be?
